The Origin

Mounts Bay Accountants was founded by Lisa Haffenden with a simple mission: to prove that professional accounting doesn't have to be boring. After many years in the industry, Lisa wanted to create a firm that felt like home… because that’s exactly where it is.
Based in Newlyn, we serve clients across Penzance, Mousehole, St Ives, Helston, St Just and the wider West Cornwall area.

We operate from Lisa’s home in Newlyn, which means no cold offices or intimidating boardrooms. It’s a space where the kettle is usually on and the advice is always straightforward. We’ve traded the corporate ladder for a local approach that puts people before spreadsheets. We work for you, not the taxman.
